3 Principles for Meditation

I was going through the question answers with Guruji..found this fantastic answer by him...

happy reading !!

Q. During meditation my mind wanders a lot. When will it settle down?
Sri Sri: The mind does not wander, it is in search of more and more. This thirst for more will lead to the Supreme Self.
One glimpse of the self is enough to lead you back. At least you are aware that the mind wanders. This is a big thing. Sometimes people don’t even know this. Once you know this, it means it will come back.

Desires take you farther away from the Self. Small small desires can disturb your meditation. When you sit down to meditate, tell yourself that at this time “I want nothing”. The second is to tell yourself “I do nothing”. The third sutra (principle) is “I am nothing”. Do not think that you have to meditate, just sit and be hollow and empty. You do not have to make any kind of attempt. These three sutras are very important.

Business Trip

A man boards a flight from Delhi to Mumbai and takes his seat. As he settles in, he glances up and sees a gorgeous woman boarding the plane.

He soon realizes she's heading straight towards his seat. Lo and behold, she takes the seat right next to his.

Eager to strike up a conversation, he asks 'Business trip or vacation?' She turns, smiles, and says, 'Business. I'm going to the annual Sexologists Convention.'

He swallows hard. Here is the most gorgeous woman he has ever seen, sitting next to him, and she's a sexologist! Struggling to contain his excitement and maintain his composure, he calmly asks, 'What's your business role at this convention?'

'Lecturer,' she says, 'I use my experience to debunk some of the popular myths about sexuality.'

'Really?' he says, swallowing hard. 'What m-m-m-myths are those?'

'Well,' she explains, 'one popular myth is that African men are the best endowed when, in fact, it's the Tamilian who is most likely to possess that trait. Another popular myth is that Frenchmen are the best lovers, whereas actually it is the Bengali. However, we have found that the best potential lover in all categories is the Sardar.'

Suddenly, the woman becomes a little uncomfortable and blushes. 'I'm sorry,' she says, 'I shouldn't be discussing this with you. I don't even know your name!'

' Venkatraman !' the man blurts out. ' Venkatraman Mukherjee ! But all my friends call me Joginder Singh

MONEY MATTERs

Hi all,

Today I was thinking about money matters, wealth and propery . I realized that if we earn money only for ourselves and not be generous, life becomes boring and insecure.
Earn lot of money, have big house and vehilces and be generous to share it with others .
My close friend bharath got admission in B School and he is moving out of chennai .No one in his family is going to use it further. He choose to give it to Art of Living so that the bike can be used for sewa .That kind of unshakable faith in the organization and generousity for giving it to sewa is an example for faith in action.

I see people refuse to give lift in a lonely place, just because of their mental blocks. Here we see people who would share their belongings with such love and gratitude . I feel blessed being with my Master who is providing whatever is needed and the organization which share and also care for the world.

I am very happy that Bharath (India) has got her glory back .

Share and Celebrate every moment in life !

Love
