PEACE WALK

Hi All,
During the visit to Chennai last month, Guruji stressed on getting together and mount pressure on the Sri Lankan government to press for a ceasefire. Many like minded organizations are getting together for this peace march. It's time educated and enlightened persons like us speak up to stop the war.
Art of Living members / volunteers are requested to assemble at the Car park opposite the Secretariat at 3.45 pm and we will move together as one group under the Art of Living banner with specially designed caps for the occasion.

Please make your presence and save life of innocent peoples. Every one who walks saves one life of a Srilankan tamil.

Decisions



What decisions do you make ?

When
  • Mind is confused
  • Mind is in low energy (not enthusiastic)
  • Some restlessness in the body
  • Knowing that eating Non Veg or smoking or drinking is not good for health
Knowing that something is wrong and doing it intentionally is equal to suicide.
It is obvious that mind indulges in some bad habits but coming out of it after realizing that it is not bringing happiness is the wise decision .

So atleast to realize and take decision mind should have certain energy .

What energy mind needs and what is it seeking every moment ?
Secret
is Breathe

If we do some breathing practices mind becomes energized and takes decisions which are good for the body and mind.

Lets look into the decisions mind takes when it is low energy
  • Nothing is perfect in this world , whats the big deal if i do wrong things
  • Everybody will die , I will also die ,so lets do it before I die
  • I dont care , and nothing happened to me till now or will happen to me...etc
So make decisions to increase your energy levels by knowing meditation , pranayama, Sudharan Kriya by attending the workshops which The Art of Living organization is offering .Make the best use of it and make your life a celebration .

Let Go


"Let go of what? "
That thing where I am stuck.
"Where am I stuck?"
Stuck at unpleasant thoughts /unpleasant feelings/Doubts

What I observed was sometimes my mind is stuck with any one of the above activities and it doesn't want to come out, it holding on to it ..then I realized the meaning of the knowledge point " Let go " which I learned in The Art of living course .

Unless untill I decide to " Let go" and bring back my mind to happy and meditative state it will be stuck and as the time passes it becomes an "Inhibition/Weekness".

So letting it go time & again and bringing back the mind to happy state is an Art of Living

"How to Let go ?" is the next question..

1.Take a breathe in ..
2.Hold(connect)
3.Drop it while breathing out

4. Do Sudharshan Kriya Regularly.

I found that the knowledge and the processes that I learned from the course helps me in Letting go of the unpleasant things and brings back the Happy & meditative state of mind effortlessly .

This is very profound Knowledge , this will give tremendous growth in Life..
